So Burlesque is back, but don’t worry it has not reached nipple tassel level just yet! Underwear as outerwear has been around for a while now and has become a very sexy yet feminine way to dress, however you do need that little bit of confidence to bare that little bit more. (Let’s face it; we are not all Dita Von Teese who happily rolls around in a giant martini glass with nothing on but a smile!)

This trend can be adapted for the more demure of us and all you have to remember are the three C’s… corset, camisole and crop top.

• Corset’s when fit properly do wonder’s for the figure, the boning and shape of the corset can sculpt your body in amazing ways and is super flattering. Corsets are fantastic to team with other trends, I wear mine with double denim, and it softens it up perfectly.
• Camisoles are every girls best friend when it comes to this trend. Tucked in or worn loose, a silk camisole looks gorgeous and for the vintage lovers amongst us, completely exquisite vintage camisoles can be picked up for a few pounds.
• Cropped boudoir tops are for the brave, however if not so brave team with an uber high waisted skirt or layered under a shirt.
